Boris Nalbach - CEO & CTO & Founder

is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Collax GmbH in Ismaning and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Collax Inc. in Boston. After studying electrical engineering, he started his career as technical manager of the computer graphics line of ELSA AG.

Boris Nalbach then moved to Munich to work for Nemetschek AG. As manager and CTO, he was responsible for new technologies, quality and R&D. His career then took him to the Nürnberg-based SuSE Linux AG, one of the world's leading suppliers of complete solutions based on the open-source Linux operating system. As Chief Technical Officer, Boris Nalbach managed the company's entire product provision activities. Before assuming technical responsibility for Collax's product range, Boris Nalbach worked as Vice President, Open Source Strategy (EMEA) for Novell Inc. As CTO of Collax, he is responsible for the ongoing technical development of Collax Business Server.

 

William K. Hite - CFO & Founder

is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and co-founder of Collax Inc. in Boston. Mr. Hite brings to Collax substantial SEC, international, and expansion experience. Prior to joining Collax, Mr. Hite for the past 17 years held senior financial positions in the IT, financial services and public accounting industries. For the past 13 years he has focused his career on building and growing young promising European and US high-tech companies to the stage of an IPO or acquisition. As part of this effort he was a “core IPO team member“, successfully bringing ON Technology Corporation to NASDAQ and subsequently involved in their M&A activities and global expansion. Prior to working in the IT industry he was Controller of TLP Leasing Programs, an investment management company managing several publicly traded and private placement limited partnerships. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand in Boston Massachusetts. He holds a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
