Collax has integrated the business ERP solution Classic Line 2008 of Sage Software GmbH & Co. KG into the Collax Solution Platform. The result is a Linux-based ERP solution that can be installed and managed without any Linux know-how. To facilitate easy and fast installation of the software, which is tailored to small and medium sized companies, on the Collax Business Server, Collax has integrated an installation assistant. This assistant ensures that all the necessary system settings can easily be made. The Classic Line 2008 is managed via the easy to use, Web-based Collax user interface.

The Sage Classic Line 2008 was integrated in the Collax Solution Platform using Collax’s own Software Development Kit (SDK). The ERP solution’s server infrastructure will set-up and operated via Collax’s browser-based graphical user interface. A Wizard developed by Collax enables the solution’s fast installation and the configuration of the necessary system settings.
In addition to the server installation for the Classic Line 2008, the Collax Solution Platform also enables a uniform operation of comprehensive server services for network infrastructure, security and collaboration. Sage Classic Line 2008 users can build a homogeneous server environment on the Collax Platform and benefit from the cost savings that a Linux platform offers in terms of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Costs and Availability
The Classic Line 2008 that operates under Collax and Windows is available as of August 1, 2007. Per user, the ERP solution costs as of Euro 995, in addition to a monthly maintenance fee of Euro 35 per user. For ten users the annual subscription fee for the Collax Business Server is Euro 395. All costs are subject to VAT.
