• The signatures for identifying harmful code are automatically updated at regular intervals. Thanks to the automatic update function of the virus definition files and the scan engine, your system is protected by the latest anti-virus software in the best way possible at all times.
• Collax Virus Protection offers reliable protection against viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spyware, jokeware, root kits, botnet zombies, and other malware.
• Every incoming, outgoing, and internal E-Mail is checked in real time, and Web connections are checked in real time.
• When a threat is detected, the administrator is alerted immediately.
• Unknown archive formats and infected or suspicious files are quarantined automatically. Optionally, these can be deleted directly.
• All common archive formats are opened, and their contents are checked. The file-caching system avoids the time-consuming re-scan of files that had already been checked and that have not been modified. E-Mail attachments including compressed attachments are checked recursively.
